CREATIVE APPROACH: VENTILATION, SHADING, LIGHTING OR ACOUSTICS
In this project, we continued researching on Kampung Admiralty, Singapore. I identified passive design for acoustics in community plaza and shops in Kampung Admiralty. We analysed the effect of comfort level in a space relating to acoustics.
In the video below, we analysed the monitored measurement, environmental factor, people and space in diagrams, sections and plans. Referring to the data we collected at the site, I have explored the noise sources and passive design strategies. Besides, I did data analysis at the end to prove that the passive design strategies are efficient.

From this project, I understand the strategies that encourage effective environmental design principles and building practices. Besides, I learned how to examine environmental factors in relation to natural or passive building design strategies used to achieve comfort level.
