CREATIVE APPROACH: VENTILATION, SHADING, LIGHTING OR ACOUSTICS
In this project, we continued researching on Kampung Admiralty, Singapore. I identified passive design for acoustics in community plaza and shops in Kampung Admiralty. We analysed the effect of comfort level in a space relating to acoustics​.

In the video below, we analysed the monitored measurement, environmental factor, people and space in diagrams, sections and plans. Referring to the data we collected at the site, I have explored the noise sources and passive design strategies. Besides, I did data analysis at the end to prove that the passive design strategies are efficient.

From this project, I understand the strategies that encourage effective environmental design principles and building practices. Besides, I learned how to examine environmental factors in relation to natural or passive building design strategies used to achieve comfort level.
